San Jose Trestle Bridge, CA

Project lead Douglas Porter, Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UVM, along with Ron Anthony, Wood Scientist at Anthony & Associates, Inc., Adam King, Director at Arcadia Restorations and Joseph Cotter, Consultant at Porter & Associates. Amy Boyce of Husk Preservation, INC. joined the project to assist with a non-destructive evaluation of a 1920's era railroad trestle bridge. Amy was involved in the evaluation including sampling using resistance drills.
