Rolsyn Grist Mill, Roslyn, NY c. early 18th Century

The photos below show two phases of work by Husk Preservation, INC. taking down posts in the mill. The posts were then shipped to Jan Lewandowski for repair. Later phases will include reinstalling the posts and doing insitu repairs to the ties under direction of Jan.

This multi-phase public works job started for Husk Preservation, INC. with disassembling the timber frame husk and dendrochronology dating its timbers. These photos can be viewed in a different project album on this website.

Husk Preservation, INC. is also acting as the mill consultant on this project for the architects John G. Waite Associates, Architects PLLC.
